The Harris County Hispanic Cultural Heritage Commission is dedicated to identifying, preserving and promoting Hispanic Cultural Heritage across the county. This broadly includes events, landmarks, language and arts, history and sciences.
On July 28, 2020, Commissioner Adrian Garcia submitted an agenda item for Commissioners Court approval to create the Harris County Hispanic Cultural Heritage Commission as an advisory board to Commissioners Court with focus on Hispanic cultural heritage in the county.
